When it comes to Portability A tablet will usually always win. However, if you’re getting a hybrid or a big Tablet you also might want to consider buying a Laptop instead.
In Terms of Performance…
Laptops will have the edge here. The main reason is because their larger cases can pick up more hardware compared to tablets.
Because of their smaller size Tablets will have a shorter battery life compared to Laptops.
Usually top of the range Laptops will go for around the £900 -1500 mark while Tablet top of the ranges will go for £600-800. So if money is an issue a Tablet may be the way to go.
Laptops have a better versatile experience while tablets are more centered around apps. However, as there are many tablets getting more advance now, with some you can download apps and have your desktop with windows 10 giving you a hybrid experience.
With both Laptops and Tablets you can find pretty much any screen size these days. But on the whole, Laptops tend to have a screen size of about 12-16 inches while Tablets are around the 7-11-inch range. With both devices the choices outside of that that start to get much more limited.
There’s No Right Or Wrong
Ultimately the choice is up to you. However, if you want something that is extremely light, portable, not so pricy and love Apps then a Tablet will probably be your best option. But if you’re Looking for something which is much all rounded and has many flexible options and even to do job or business work on, then a Laptop may fit you best.
